We love NYC
Eric brought each one of us an I love NYC shirt from his business trip to New York. I wanted to show you guys how cute my kids look with them on. However, you know how picture taking sessions are with little kids. None of the tons of pictures taken turned out the way I wanted. Anyway, my kids still look gorgeous!!!

Torn between two lovers
I was listening to a song that is called "torn between two lovers" and it really hit me, because that's exactly how I feel right now. I cannot wait to see my husband again, play in my backyard with my kids, go back to my crafts and scrapbooking. On the other hand, the thought of leaving my parents again is killing me. I don't expect anyone to understand this, but I am hurting right now.
Being in my country makes me feel my old self again. Being in Michigan makes me feel my current self. Both make me very happy. Both make me a whole. Why can't I have both?
I know I cannot wait to kiss that gorgeous man (who happens to be my other half) and tell him I cannot live without him, and at the same time, ache deeply for not having my parents and their tender care 24/7.
I will definitely miss my country, but what I will absolutely miss is waking up to kisses and hugs all day long.

My parents home
It really does not matter how much time I live away from my country, I just need a few minutes in Mexico to feel I am at home once more.
I never lived in my current parent´s house as a single woman. However, just the smell of it makes me feel I am back in my beautiful Mexico City residence. Bright colors everywhere, the same living room furniture we bought right before the economical crisis started, pictures everywhere...anyway, my wonderful memories.
I love my parent´s home, but what I love the most is that now I can share it with a little family of my own. Now my kids are creating memories here. My husband is learning why I am the way I am, and I...I am getting my share of love from my beloved parents.

LOST is over!!!
I never thought I would like this show when I saw Eric watching it for the very first time. However, when Eric's friend let him borrow the 1rst and 2nd season DVDs...my addiction started. My brother and I went throught the 8 DVDs in about 3 days!!! that week we went to bed around 4 am every single night! I don't know how we managed it so Eric would not notice how late we had stayed up!!!
Anyway, my show it's over and I am going to miss it deeply. I feel the same way I feel when I am done reading an excellent book, but times 100! this has been the best show I have ever seen.
I don't know if it actually ended the way I understood it did (that happened a lot with this show, my version your version, our version, etc...) but I loved every second of it.
Last night, while watching the last episode, Eric and I were just as excited as we were when we started watching the series on TV. Sighing, making quick "pit" stops, running to the kitchen to get some water, and back on the couch to keep on watching it. What an awesome adventure (watching this show for 6 years) this has been!!!
This is my idea of what happened in the last 6 years of my addiction....
They landed, they left, they came back. Many died. Sawyer, Richard, Miles, Lapidus and Kate actually left the island. Jack, Ben and Hurley remained on the island. Jack actually dies and Hurley and Ben lived on the island as the new Jacob and his aid. All of the people that left the island went back home, and died at one point or another. At the end, they all died, and in the flash sideways they all lived the life they all had wished they could have actually lived; like a second chance type of thing. Finally, they all go to heaven together.
LOST you ROCK!!

Family pictures
We simply did not have any family pictures. Well, one, that's about it. In every picture we have, the kids are with Eric or me, never with both. I guess that happens when it's always one of us who has to take the picture. Anyway, I remembered we had bought a tripod when Eric was working at DI, so I decided to look for it. After long hours of searching (about 15 min) I found it!! Therefore, I decided that right after church we would perform our best smiles in front of the camera.
Patrick stained the shirt he was wearing with an M&M cookie I got from the Relief Society President. Big red stains on his shirt. Conclusion, no matching shirts for my boys. Allie remained decently clean and Sean, well, he never gets dirty. Even his mother is messier than him. However, for this picture I kept my clothes clean.
Daddy almost did not make it for the pictures. He had to stay at church counting tithing and setting people apart for some callings. Anyway, when I was about to put the camera away, he got home!! yay for daddy!!!
We had fun. Every time we shot a picture, we would all run to the camera to check how cute or ugly it had turned out. We took many, many pictures. We definitely enjoyed our self-shooting picture session.
However, the nicest moment was when we were all checking out our pictures on the computer. Eric and I almost started sobbing when we realize what a gorgeous and wonderful familiy WE have created. It is something amazing to see that out of our love these 3 little people exist and fill our lives with magic.

Anyway, here is the fruit of our labor...enjoy!
P.S. Don't you honestly think we look gorgeous together????
